Yuhei Sekiguchi
He completed his Ph.D. in 2019 from the Graduate School of Engineering, Yokohama National University, Japan. He has been involved in research on improving the functionality of quantum memory and proof-of-principle for photon-quantum memory interfaces with NV centers in diamond. Recently, he has been working on quantum entanglement generation between remote quantum memories connected by photons for the system demonstration of quantum repeater. He was a Research Fellow in the Graduate School of Engineering, Yokohama National University in 2016, a JSPS Research Fellow (DC1) from 2017 to 2018, and a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, Yokohama National University in 2019. He is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Advanced Sciences, Yokohama National University from 2020. He is a member of the Physical Society of Japan and the Japan Society of Applied Physics.
